Why a rulebook exists at all
CamgoChat places two strangers face to face on camera. That only works when both people feel safe enough to act like themselves, so every call, every text message, and every profile on the service lives under the rules on this page. They apply from the first second of a match, they apply to everyone, and nobody is too charming, too popular, or too paying to be excused. The whole thing compresses into one sentence: behave as if the person across the camera is a real human being — because they are.
Be genuine, be decent
Say hello. Take no for an answer. When a conversation is not working, skip — the button exists for exactly that, and it is always more graceful than quarreling with a stranger. Do not mock, threaten, or humiliate the person you are matched with. The reason most CamgoChat conversations stay friendly is that most people live by this paragraph without ever being asked.
Adults only — no exceptions, no appeals
Nobody under 18 may use this service. There is no gray zone and no second chance on this rule. If you suspect the person on camera is under 18, end the call and report it at once; these reports go to the front of the moderation queue ahead of everything else. Any account found to involve a minor is deleted and, when the law obliges it, handed to the appropriate authorities. If you are under 18 yourself, this service is not for you.
Keep the camera clean
CamgoChat is not an adult service, and the camera rules reflect that. No nudity, no sexual activity in front of the camera, and no pressing your match for any of it. No shock content, no graphic violence, nothing placed on screen to disturb the other person. Flirting is human nature; forcing a stranger's screen to show something they never signed up for is a violation, and we treat it as one.
Money never belongs in a match
Do not ask another user for money, presents, gift cards, crypto, or favors that carry a price — and do not send any of those to someone you met here, either. Fake emergencies, slow-burn sob stories, and romance-then-investment scripts are the oldest tricks in online chat, and every one of them ends the same way. If money comes up in a chat, report the account right then. Our Safety Tips page walks through the patterns worth recognizing.
Your match is not content
The person on your screen never consented to become material for someone else's feed. Do not screen-record calls, photograph your match, or capture their image — and absolutely do not publish or share any of it anywhere. Do not hunt for or spread anyone's real name, address, workplace, or accounts on other platforms. A private 1v1 chat stays private; violating that is among the fastest ways to lose access permanently.
No spam, no selling, no bots
CamgoChat exists for conversation, not marketing. Do not flood matches with links, pitch products or services, recruit people onto other platforms, or operate automated accounts. Every account is expected to be one real person having real conversations — anything else is noise that makes the wait worse for everyone behind you.
Reporting and blocking
Report and block controls sit one tap away on every call. A block works immediately, costs nothing, and says nothing — from then on the other side has no way to reach you. A report reaches human moderators with the context an investigation needs, and safety reports involving minors or threats jump the queue. Reporting in good faith never gets you in trouble, even when it turns out to be a misunderstanding.
How enforcement works
Minor missteps can draw a warning. Repeated or deliberate violations draw suspensions. Severe violations — anything touching minors, scams, explicit content, or exposing another user — draw an immediate permanent ban, skipping the warm-up steps entirely. Returning on a new account after a ban is itself a permanent offense. If you believe an action against your account was a mistake, write to [email protected] and a human will review it.
The whole page in one paragraph
Be an adult, be a person, keep your clothes on, keep your wallet closed, keep your match's privacy intact, and reach for the report button when someone else forgets. Do that and the only message you will ever get from us is a welcome. The legal frame around all of it lives in the Terms of Service.
